Ottimmo Cooking Competition 2020 was held on November 14th, 2020. Ottimmo International Mastergourmet Academy decided to go with “Simple but Extraordinary” as the theme. Ottimmo wants to challenge young adults in East Java who are passionate about cooking to transform simple ingredients, tofu and tempe into creative dishes. Tofu and tempe are widely consumed products in Indonesia. Tofu and tempe are usually fried, steamed, or sauteed whereas many other cooking methods can actually be implemented to create extraordinary dishes. From this phenomenon, Ottimmo International Mastergourmet Academy challenged East Java millenials to transform tofu and tempe into something special.
